WELCOME! We are so glad you're here!

Our Lady of Ostrabrama stands majestically on Depot Lane in Cutchogue and is a testament to a small group of Polish immigrants who came to the Cutchogue area in the early 1900’s. In 1908, they created a society in honor of St.Josaphat. It's purpose was to organize and support the immigrants in their efforts to receive permission to have Polish chapel which would serve their needs in the only language they understood, Polish.
In 1912, after considerable discussion, the chapel was moved from it's original location on the Main Road in Cutchogue across farm fields to Depot Lane. However, in 1918, it was destroyed by a fire. The cornerstone for the present church building was dedicated in October, 1919. We continue to embrace the Polish heritage of our original members and have happily welcomed new members from many backgrounds to form a new family in Christ.

NF Parish Outreach Pantry

In his 2022 Christmas eve homily, Pope Francis said, "Let us remember that it is not truly Christmas without the poor. Without the poor, we can celebrate Christmas, but not the birth of Jesus. Jesus was born poor, lived poor and died poor; He did not so much talk about poverty as live it, to the very end, for our sake. From birth to death, the carpenter's Son embraced the roughness of the wood, the harshness of our existence. We are called to be a church that worships a Jesus Who is poor and that serves Him in the poor.” Our Parish Outreach serves Him in those whose lives are dimmed by poverty in this season of light.

Your donation of nonperishable food and personal will ease their struggles and please our Jesus. Especially needed are regular Pantry staples such as canned fruit, cereal, rice, soap (bath, dish, laundry), paper products (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper), and personal items (shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste).

May the Christ Child richly bless you for brightening up the holiday for others.
